Huawei Unveils Enhanced Stellar Intelligent Network Solution for Europe

Huawei Introduces the Enhanced Stellar Intelligent Network

At the prestigious Huawei Network Summit 2026 in Florence, Italy, Huawei has unveiled its upgraded Stellar Intelligent Network, a solution specially designed to enhance connectivity for the European market. Rooted in the philosophy of 'Secure and Intelligent Connectivity,' this initiative underscores Huawei's commitment to driving intelligent technologies across various industries in collaboration with customers and partners. The enhancements include the Stellar Intelligent Fabric, Stellar Intelligent WAN, and Stellar Intelligent Campus Network.

Stellar Intelligent Fabric

Huawei leverages its proprietary 100T switches to establish a multi-layered, two-tier architecture. This design quadruples the network's scope while reducing the number of switches and optical modules by 30%, leading to significant reductions in total cost of ownership (TCO). Additionally, the network packet load balancing algorithm (NPLB) increases link utilization across the network to an impressive 98%, boosting learning and inference operation performance by over 7%.

In multi-vendor environments, Huawei’s xFlow technology facilitates smart analysis of data flows, enabling fault localization within one minute - a critical improvement for customers. Moreover, Huawei's AI Eagle-Eye Engine analyzes the root cause of failures within minutes, significantly enhancing the resilience of data center networks.

Stellar Intelligent WAN

Huawei's innovative Starnet lossless algorithm achieves inter-regional compute efficiency exceeding 95%, drastically cutting private line costs by 60%, thus alleviating enterprises' expenses for remote computing. The latest proprietary technology for layer-based model splitting stores raw data locally, mitigating leakage risks. An exclusive security board from Huawei detects and blocks intrusions in real-time, tracking threats within minutes with over 95% accuracy.

The first-of-its-kind built-in Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) board merges communication with quantum security, reducing deployment costs by over 60%. At the network layer, the APN6-based data protection solution guarantees the safety of sensitive data across all sectors.

Stellar Intelligent Campus Network

Huawei’s multi-access point coordination technology, alongside its exclusive intelligent antennas with dynamic zoom capabilities, reduces wireless interference by up to 84%, providing double the network performance compared to industry averages. Moreover, the comprehensive range of switches equipped with multiple GE ports and flexible right-to-use licensing reduces the TCO of campus networks at 10 Gbps speeds by over 30%.

On the front of network operations and maintenance, Huawei elevates network autonomy through data, algorithms, and tools, reducing average repair time (MTTR) to under five minutes. Local intelligent inference processing in switches allows for real-time anomaly detection, shortening threat detection time from five minutes to less than ten seconds. Furthermore, Huawei's exclusive Wi-Fi Shield technology and end-to-end post-quantum cryptography (PQC) ensure quantum-safe wired and wireless connections.

With more than 20 built-in intelligent algorithms in branch gateways, the detection rate for unknown threats climbs to an impressive 95% with millisecond-level blocking capabilities.

Huawei also presented the eKit SME Network line, tailored for small to medium enterprises, emphasizing enhanced security and performance. Notable additions include the Aura10/AR580 series of converged gateways which integrate security features like antivirus and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) for workplaces, S630 core switches with 10GE interfaces that link switching functions with WAC for managing up to 1,000 access points for hotels, and AP362H access points featuring built-in intelligent antennas to amplify gain by 1.6 times for retailers.

To align with European regulations on sustainability and low carbon, Huawei has developed a three-tier energy-saving framework. This framework encompasses energy savings at the device, network, and operational levels, serving as a smart foundation for low-carbon networks.
