The latest survey conducted by KokoMoola investigates the utilization and satisfaction levels of job change agents among users in Japan. The aim was to uncover insights that could assist job seekers in making informed decisions when choosing a job change service.

Survey Synopsis


According to the survey results, Recruit Agent emerged as the most popular choice, being utilized by 71.3% of respondents, with over half (51.8%) indicating it as their primary service. Other notable mentions included doda and Mynavi Agent, demonstrating a trend towards relying on a single major agent for job changes.

When it comes to satisfaction rates, 58.0% of users expressed that they were at least satisfied with their experiences. The most common reasons for their satisfaction included a wide range of job listings (50.0%) and the quality of service provided by agents (46.0%). However, some concerns were noted, especially regarding the variability in the quality of agents (20.3%), which affected overall satisfaction ratings.

In terms of usage frequency, 56.1% of participants reported using more than one service, primarily to compare job listings (57.6%). This trend indicates a rising demand for access to multiple platforms to ensure a thorough search and evaluation of potential job opportunities.

The survey targeted individuals who have previously utilized job change agents to facilitate their career transitions. It gathered a total of 164 valid responses between March 25 and April 7, 2026, across various regions in Japan.
