Celebrating the Cosmos Conference 2025
The American Public University System (APUS) is gearing up for its highly anticipated 6th Annual Space Education and Strategic Applications (SESA) Conference titled
Celebrating the Cosmos. This event will virtually unite educators, researchers, and enthusiasts from around the globe on
September 25-26, 2025. This year also marks the 35th anniversary of the influential
Hubble Space Telescope launch, a milestone that transformed our understanding of the universe.
In recognition of this remarkable achievement, APUS is calling for proposals for presentations that reflect innovative ideas and research in the field of space science. The aim is to inspire the upcoming generation of explorers and thinkers in both academic circles and the broader community.

We believe that such innovative proposals will fuel inspiration for future explorations."
Significance of the Hubble Telescope
Dr. Kristen Miller, an APUS Professor of Space Studies, highlighted the importance of Hubble in space exploration. "The Hubble Space Telescope has served as our celestial time machine, unveiling significant secrets of the universe’s past, present, and possible future. The SESA 2025 conference is not just an event; it's a pivotal moment to further the outstanding discoveries made possible by Hubble and seek new frontiers in space exploration."
This year's conference presents an excellent opportunity to collaborate with other passionate individuals in space education and research. APUS warmly welcomes proposals that align with the conference theme and the spirit of celebration surrounding the Hubble’s legacy.
