Syngenta Unveils the Durastak Traits of Tomorrow Scholarship
In an exciting initiative aimed at fostering future leaders in agriculture and science,
Syngenta has launched the
Durastak Traits of Tomorrow Scholarship. This new scholarship program will provide five exceptional students with $2,000 each to help spur their education in
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and agriculture-related fields.
Announced on March 26, 2026, the scholarship is open for applications from
March 23 through June 15, 2026. This initiative targets students who are either high school seniors intending to enroll full-time in a college or university in the fall or current college students pursuing relevant studies.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Durastak scholarship, applicants must be U.S. residents aged 18 or older and must be pursuing studies in STEM or agriculture fields. The scholarship specifically welcomes applications from students in
Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, or Wisconsin. Current employees of Syngenta and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply.
Application Process
Prospective students can apply through an online application form, which will be available on Syngenta's official website. The application process closes on June 15, 2026. Following the conclusion of the application period, a panel of judges will meticulously review all submissions to select the five scholarship recipients based on the strength of their applications. Students will be notified of their status by June 30, 2026.
