Exciting New CANNA Ambassador Event Featuring Olympic Gold Medalist Nana Takagi

A Thrilling CANNA Ambassador Event

Recently, the CANNA ambassador official appointment event was held at the Sunken Garden in Kitte Osaka, on June 15, 2025. The event hosted Nana Takagi, the former Olympic gold medalist in speed skating, who proudly takes on the role of CANNA’s new ambassador. Alongside her, former professional baseball player Yoshio Itoi, who also enjoys using CANNA products, joined in a talk session directed by the company’s CEO, Akihisa Yamazaki.

The event was a great success, drawing in a large crowd eager to meet the ambassadors and learn about the brand's CBD skincare line. This engaging assembly brought a lively atmosphere infused with enthusiasm and warmth among participants.

Emphasizing Skin Care

During the event, Takagi candidly discussed her experience with skincare, especially reflecting on her days as an athlete. “I mostly went without makeup during my career,” she reminisced, adding that since her retirement, her opportunities for media appearances have increased and introduced her to the importance of skincare. She shared, “On days when I return home exhausted, I sometimes can’t remove my makeup, and that’s a real challenge for me. But CANNA’s moisture cream, being an all-in-one product, allows me to care for my skin conveniently.” Her honest insights resonated with the audience, eliciting a wave of empathy from attendees.

Shared Wisdom on Aging

Itoi and Takagi both echoed the brand’s motto, “Aging is an evolution,” throughout the talk session. They often expressed their shared sentiment regarding the positive view of aging, contributing to the lightheartedness of the event as they smiled and reaffirmed the motto.

Itoi further highlighted his personal experiences with CANNA products, stating, “Since I started using it, I’ve been receiving compliments on my skin from makeup artists and those around me.” This affirmation clearly showcased the effectiveness of the CANNA skincare line.

Interacting with the Audience

As the event progressed, a Q&A segment allowed audience members, including children, to pose questions. Young attendees were eager to know when Takagi began her skincare routine. She responded earnestly, offering advice and nurturing insights about skin care, further lightening the atmosphere of the event with her humor and relatability.

Product Experiences and Exciting Giveaways

Attendees were invited to experience CANNA’s newly released Moisture Cream and Moisture Essence at touch-up booths set up at the venue. Many participants took the opportunity to feel the textures and effects of the products firsthand, fully engaging with the world of CANNA.

Additionally, a fun capsule toy giveaway required participants to follow CANNA’s official Instagram account, creating a buzz at the venue. The prizes, which included an original pouch signed by Takagi and Itoi along with various actual CANNA skincare products, were a thrilling incentive that delighted attendees and provided a memorable experience while enjoying the brand’s charm.
