What is the wemo® Series?

The wemo® series, which stands for "wearable memo," is founded on the philosophy of reducing the stress of remembering. Since its debut with the wemo Band Type in 2017, users have appreciated the convenience of wearing a memo on their wrists, which alleviates the hassle of taking out a notepad in urgent situations and the mental burden of forgetting notes. The product is made from silicone rubber, featuring a unique coating allowing users to write with oil-based pens, erase with a rubber or their fingers, and use the notes repeatedly.

By 2026, the series had won five awards and three nominations, including Japan's Stationery Award and others, totaling 14 accolades in various categories, significantly changing the landscape of reusable memory products. The user feedback continually influences product development, leading to a sale of over 1 million units by the autumn of 2023.

In 2025, the collaboration between Yamato Co., Ltd. and the wemo series began, leveraging Yamato's expertise in adhesives and the emphasis on analog tools' usability amidst a digital world. The initial release, the Animal Series, quickly sold out at stationery fairs, followed by the successful launch of the Delicious Memo Series in February 2026. Notably, this latest release focuses on one of the most beloved animals—the cat—resulting in the adorable Cat Series.

The Cat Series retains the wemo Pad Type's essence of repeated use while introducing three cute cat designs featuring their adorable rear views, enhanced by a larger size for better usability in writing longer messages or multiple tasks.
