The Collaboration Between Teoria Technologies and Internet Infinity to Enhance AI-driven Care Support via LINE

Teoria Technologies and Internet Infinity Join Forces

In a groundbreaking initiative, Teoria Technologies (based in Chiyoda, Tokyo) and Internet Infinity (IIF) have entered into a basic cooperation agreement starting August 28, 2025. This collaboration aims to develop next-generation care solutions that leverage AI technology to support balancing work and caregiving responsibilities. Their first project will begin testing on December 1, 2025, combining IIF's corporate service, "Wakarukaigo Biz," with Teoria's conversational AI solution, "Yorunimo," via the communication app LINE.

Addressing Caregiver Challenges

The partnership targets a significant social issue where approximately 106,000 individuals in Japan left their jobs in 2022 due to caregiving responsibilities. This situation not only hinders individual careers but also results in the loss of valuable talents for companies, directly impacting productivity. Creating a supportive working environment for employees is increasingly crucial for the sustainable growth of organizations.

Both companies share a vision for aligning their approaches to caregiving, with Teoria leveraging its AI expertise in the healthcare sector, especially concerning dementia, and IIF focusing on eliminating caregiver-related resignations through enhanced support frameworks. By merging their resources, they aim to create a new model of caregiving that connects employees, caregivers, and experts without the constraints of time and location.

The Pilot Project: 24/7 AI-Powered Care Support

As part of the first initiative, a 24/7 AI chat support system will be tested through LINE, a platform familiar to many users. The pilot project, named "Wakarukaigo Biz × Teoria Caregiver Support AI 'Yorunimo' on LINE," will run from December 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. Participating companies will include several major firms that have already adopted the Wakarukaigo Biz service. The objective is to analyze how real-time AI conversations contribute to reducing caregiver stress and enhancing information gathering.

Key Features of the Support System:

1. 24/7 AI Chat Consultation: Caregivers can discuss their concerns at any time that suits them, even during the late night or early morning. By using LINE, users can access the support effortlessly without the hassle of complex registration processes.
2. Personalized AI Conversation Experience: The system will not only address caregiving situations but also consider the user’s perspective on caregiving, optimizing responses through contextual understanding over time.
3. Sharing Real Tips from Caregivers: The platform will provide practical tips from fellow caregivers to enhance the daily experience of caregiving, delivering easy-to-understand knowledge that may not be readily available online.
4. Monthly Reflection Reports: Users will receive insights based on their conversation records, helping them recognize changes and growth in their caregiving journey while bolstering their self-esteem.

Benefits for Employees, Companies, and Society

Through this initiative, valuable support will be offered to employees engaged in caregiving roles, companies implementing the service, and, ultimately, society as a whole. For employees, this translates into alleviating the loneliness and stress associated with caregiving, while companies stand to benefit from preventing caregiver-related resignations, potentially enhancing workforce stability and productivity. On a broader scale, the collaboration aims to establish a sustainable and innovative model for caregiving support, thereby contributing to the overall enhancement of caregiving infrastructure.

Future Directions

Based on the outcomes of this pilot, Teoria and IIF plan to push forward with the further development of the Yorunimo service and its implementation. Insights gained will guide improvements to the LINE service and the eventual creation of a native app aiming for full-scale service launch by 2026.

The two companies also envision creating synergies with IIF's existing group services, such as rehab-focused day service "Record Book" and care manager support tools, to integrate comprehensive caregiving experiences that blend online and offline interventions.

Leadership Perspectives

Keiichi Bekku, President of Internet Infinity, emphasized the significance of achieving a "zero caregiver resignation society." He views this project as a substantial step towards that goal, bolstered by Teoria's robust AI capabilities.

Kohei Sakata, CEO of Teoria Technologies, stresses the importance of this partnership in addressing the urgent staffing concerns within the caregiving sector. By harnessing AI and scientific knowledge, they aim to create impactful solutions that alleviate caregiver burdens.

Both companies are committed to building a sustainable, compassionate society through innovative technology applications in caregiving.
