Doosan Robotics Showcases Groundbreaking AI Solutions at CES 2026

Doosan Robotics Presents Innovative AI Solutions at CES 2026

Doosan Robotics Inc., a leader in collaborative robotic solutions, is set to make waves at CES 2026. Taking place from January 6 to 9 in Las Vegas, the company will showcase its latest advancements aimed at transforming the robotics industry.

Among the highlight presentations is their award-winning "Autonomous Scan & Go" robotic solution, which has garnered two prestigious CES Innovation Awards. This cutting-edge technology utilizes artificial intelligence to enhance the repair process of composite materials at large scale, employing cognitive learning, physics-based intelligence, and 3D laser vision to interpret intricate geometries in real-time. This allows for optimized movement trajectories derived directly from point cloud data, eliminating the need for CAD modeling or programming. This capability is crucial for achieving high precision in demanding tasks.

Overview of the Autonomous Scan & Go Solution

The Scan & Go system is integrated into an autonomous forklift, designed to address operations within expansive and irregular structures like aircraft fuselages, wind turbine blades, and architectural facades. With minimal setup, it can carry out tasks such as sanding, grinding, and inspection, thus aiding manufacturers in speeding up production, minimizing labor demands, and improving quality as well as workplace safety.

In collaboration with Maple Advanced Robotics Inc. (MARI), a Canadian robotics innovation firm, Doosan Robotics is enhancing AI-driven capabilities further. The partnership aims at developing robotic platforms that leverage cutting-edge artificial intelligence for an optimized operational experience.

Real-Time Palletizing Demonstration

In addition to the Scan & Go presentation, attendees will witness Doosan's AI palletizing demonstration. This solution incorporates real-time optimal motion planning powered by Nvidia's cuMotion technology. The AI-based palletizer is an automated system that features 3D vision-based box recognition, text recognition, obstacle avoidance, and automatic route generation. By utilizing advanced AI motion algorithms, this system precisely identifies boxes, dynamically navigates around obstacles, and generates optimized movement routes for execution. These innovations promise to significantly enhance operational efficiency and flexibility in logistics environments, enabling a more adaptable and intelligent automation process.

Integrated Robotic Solution

Doosan's intelligent robotic solutions seamlessly combine hardware, software, and advanced AI functionalities into a single, ready-to-use package. Designed for quick installation and immediate operation, these solutions allow users to optimize workflows and task sequences through AI-driven automation, greatly reducing operational downtime. Furthermore, coordinated work among multiple robots improves overall efficiency in the working environment.

Kevin Kim, CEO of Doosan Robotics, shared, "We are progressing towards the next phase of our company by providing top-tier solutions to increase efficiency and safety in diverse workplaces. Our robust portfolio of robotic solutions, supported by strategic partnerships with industry leaders like NVIDIA, directly addresses the challenges faced across multiple sectors."

Earlier this year, Doosan Robotics announced its strategic transformation into an AI solutions provider, focusing on securing future growth engines and enhancing its global technological competitiveness. The company plans to launch its AI palletizing solution in the first half of this year.
