Nippon Paint's Collaboration with the New Drama
Nippon Paint Co., headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, is excited to announce its artistic collaboration with the highly anticipated drama "Good Things, Bad Things," which will premiere on Nippon TV on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 9 PM. As part of this collaboration, we have contributed significantly to the set design for the drama, specifically creating a realistic garage for the protagonist's family paint shop, "Takaki Paint."
The character Shō Takaki is portrayed as the third-generation owner of this family-run business, enabling us to showcase an authentic representation of a paint and coatings shop. Our contribution includes the provision of architectural paint, paint cans, color sample books, catalogs, and original promotional items like jumpers and keychains. All these elements are realistic and commonly utilized in professional settings, adding a true-to-life atmosphere to the show's garage scene.
Features of Our Contribution
The design of the paint cans is notably eye-catching, contributing to the overall immersive experience of the drama's setting. Additionally, we have provided promotional posters for our flagship product, the "Gran Cera" series, along with various color sample books that are integral to the paint selection process.
Our team also supplied the official "Good Job" certification, which is used in the series as a mark of quality for the Takaki Paint shop. This unique touch not only enhances the viewer's experience but also highlights the professionalism and standards upheld by our brand. In addition to the promotional materials, we added branded items such as calendars and custom stickers to further deepen the connection between the audience, the show, and our products.
Through this collaboration, we aim to engage both our loyal clients in the paint retail and application industry and the general audience, allowing them to appreciate the world of painting and coatings more closely. We encourage viewers to tune in to the show and keep an eye on our products and promotional items featured throughout the series.
The Drama Itself
"Good Things, Bad Things" is a mystery drama featuring two protagonists who delve into the truth behind the suspicious death of a former classmate. The storyline unfolds as they discover a yearbook with faces obscured, leading to a series of entangled secrets among their former classmates. This creates a gripping narrative that intertwines personal histories with a compelling mystery, leaving viewers guessing at every turn.
As we embark on this artistic journey with Nippon TV, we at Nippon Paint are committed to revitalizing the painting industry and continually providing products and services that delight our customers. We are proud to play a role in contributing to the vibrant world of storytelling in Japanese television.
