DDB Worldwide: A Triumph at Cannes Lions 2025

In 2025, DDB Worldwide has once again claimed the prestigious title of Network of the Year at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. This marks a historic second victory within just two years, after their groundbreaking win in 2023. The agency, part of the Omnicom group, achieved this accolade amidst a record-breaking year, earning a total of 112 Lions, a significant increase from the previous year’s achievements, solidifying its position at the forefront of the global creative industry.

Under the newly appointed leadership of global CEO Alex Lubar and global president and chief creative officer Chaka Sobhani, DDB has embraced a new era characterized by tighter integration, emotion-driven creativity, and a strong focus on culturally impactful work that yields genuine business results. The duo has emphasized that the agency’s ongoing success is a product of this unified vision, which holds creativity as the most powerful force in business.

Chaka Sobhani expressed his gratitude, stating, “I literally have no words. This means everything to us. I could not be prouder of our DDB network and the passion, commitment, and love that brought us here. Huge thanks also to our amazing clients for their trust and collaboration; we wouldn’t be here without you, and I hope we’ve made you proud. I look forward to this being the beginning of much more at DDB.”

Reflecting on the achievements of 2023, Alex Lubar commented, “That was a historic year for DDB, but we saw it as just the beginning. The momentum you are seeing now is the result of a global network aligned around a simple belief: creativity is the most powerful force in business. I am incredibly proud of our exceptional teams and client partners in this collective effort.”
