Geely Farizon SV 2027 Launches in France with Real-World Testing Success

Geely Farizon SV: A New Era in Delivery Vehicles

The Geely Farizon SV model for the year 2027 has officially debuted at the Marché International de Rungis in France, a renowned hub for wholesale fresh produce. This venue was chosen due to its critical role in European last-mile delivery operations, characterized by dense routes, numerous stops, strict schedules, and constant start-stop driving. The introduction of the Farizon SV aims to provide measurable operational advantages for fleets and independent operators, embodying the brand’s commitment to “More for Business.”

The Farizon SV was first unveiled in France back in April 2026 but has since been refined to tackle real challenges faced by delivery fleets. Built on the native electric architecture GXA-M by Farizon, this vehicle features a modular chassis designed for flexible expansion. The model boasts a useful cargo capacity of 13 m³ and achieves a combined driving range of up to 384 km, as according to the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP).

The new battery from CATL supports direct current (DC) charging at a rate of 2C, enabling it to recharge from 20% to 80% in just 18 minutes. This rapid charging capability aligns perfectly with the schedules of delivery operations, allowing for minimal disruption and efficient use of downtime. Additionally, the newly developed all-wheel-drive variant enhances traction on wet roads and uneven surfaces, making it particularly suitable for transporting fresh produce during rainy seasons in Europe.

Prior to its market launch, local operators at Rungis conducted extensive real-world testing with the 2027 Farizon SV model during full workdays, simulating multiple trips and charging throughout shifts. One operator noted, “The cargo area of the SV model is well-suited for food crates, and the low loading height reduces fatigue from repeated product handling. The fast charging fits perfectly into our lunch breaks, so we can recharge the vehicle without disrupting delivery schedules. It’s a practical option for our high-intensity operations.”

The introduction of new variants like the Combi and Minibus expands the SV model range, catering to refrigerated transport, modifications, and shuttle services for passengers, representing a significant milestone for Farizon’s line of light commercial vehicles in Europe. The event featured static exhibits, demonstrations of modifications, and on-site test drives showcasing the vehicle's agility and responsiveness in urban settings.

In summary, the updated Farizon SV model year 2027 is designed with operational needs in mind, proving itself as a robust electric light commercial vehicle (LCV) poised for immediate use. This aligns seamlessly with Farizon’s promise of “More for Business” aimed at European fleet operators, marrying sustainability with practicality in the ever-evolving landscape of delivery logistics.
