This year's competition, 'Battle to LuckyFes'26,' saw an impressive 1,132 groups vying for the chance to perform at one of Japan's most anticipated music festivals. Through rigorous rounds of audio and video assessments, eight promising acts emerged as finalists, ready to battle it out for a coveted spot on the LuckyFes stage this June.

The Selection Process

The journey began with a grand total of 1,132 entries, a testament to the sheer talent that artists across the country possess. After a meticulous review of audio submissions, 34 groups advanced to the video assessment round. From this selection, the following eight were chosen to compete in the final showdown:

The ultimate showdown will take place on June 7 at the renowned Shimokitazawa BASEMENTBAR in Tokyo. Not only do participants get the chance to perform, but they will also have the chance to win a cash prize of 100,000 yen!
