This International Women’s Month, Hard Rock International and globally renowned star Shakira are launching an inspiring initiative aimed at empowering women across the globe. Announced in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, this partnership marks a commitment to uplift women's voices and stories through the powerful medium of music.

The collaboration is set to feature an impressive 1,000 woman-led performances throughout the month, with proceeds benefiting the Hard Rock Heals Foundation® and local women’s organizations. A portion of the funds raised will be directed to Pies Descalzos Foundation, Shakira’s non-profit, which focuses on enhancing education and social development for girls in vulnerable communities in Colombia. Hard Rock Heals Foundation is proud to contribute $250,000 to this noble cause, reinforcing their dedication to bettering the world.

“I am thrilled to partner with Hard Rock, an organization with an incredible history of supporting women through music, to empower my sisters this International Women’s Day and beyond,” Shakira expressed. “Together, we can use our voices to break barriers and make the world a more inclusive place where every woman feels confident.”

Unique Collaborations and Offerings


As part of this exciting partnership, Hard Rock Cafe will feature Shakira's favorite dishes on their menu for a limited time, including the delicious "Hips Don’t Lie" cocktail made with tequila, elderflower liqueur, strawberries, cucumbers, and the Chicken Fattoush salad in honor of Shakira's Lebanese heritage. They will also serve a Colombian burger along with a brownie topped with caramelized condensed milk and hot chocolate sauce.

Additionally, Shakira will be seen modeling special merchandise, including official t-shirts, hoodies, and pins created for International Women’s Month, available at Rock Shop locations and on the Hard Rock online store.

The initiatives continue with interactive engagements like concerts celebrating the release of Shakira’s new album, "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran," and participation in the loyalty program Unity™ by Hard Rock, all echoing their shared values tied to advocating for women’s rights through music.
