This spring, the vibrant Tama Central Park will host the inaugural Park Carnival on May 30, 2026, with a plethora of exciting activities and attractions for visitors of all ages. Located just a five-minute walk from Tama Center Station, this expansive carnival will transform the park into a lively hub of entertainment.

Main Attractions


  • - Stage Performances (11:00 AM - 4:00 PM): The centerpiece of the carnival will be a stage adorned with performances from local talents such as Hula Kiana showcasing Hawaiian dance, the well-known street performer KAYA, who brings his captivating ukulele skills, and the comic duo DUDUDIDAH, hailing from Tama City. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun and dance along!

  • - Alpaca Experiences (10:30 AM - 1:00 PM): The charm of the carnival will be amplified with the presence of alpacas arriving from Machida! Interact and get close to these fuzzy creatures, and don’t forget to check out the exclusive alpaca merchandise available for purchase.

  • - Time Travel Experience (8:00 AM - 7:30 PM): Step back in time at the old Tomizawa residence. Guests can experience lifestyles from various historical periods, delving into traditional clothing, food, and living styles.
- Morning Retreat (8:00 AM - 9:00 AM): Open to all, this special session will allow attendees to practice breathing exercises, meditation, and yoga in the serene early morning air, followed by a cup of warm tea.
- Kimono Fun (10:00 AM - 4:00 PM): Dress in period attire and snap some memorable photographs in the traditional house!
- Traditional Cafe (10:00 AM - 5:30 PM): Savor delicious treats from a quaint cafe set inside the garden, offering various snacks and beverages.

  • - Special Waterfront Market (10:00 AM - 4:00 PM) at the terrace in front of the large pond will feature gourmet food trucks and vibrant stalls, bringing a unique marketplace atmosphere to the park.

  • - Interactive Workshops: Engage in colorful “secret base” constructions, a fun opportunity to create delightful spaces together. Join in on games and quizzes designed specifically for kids, along with mushroom cultivation experience workshops, flower quizzes, and bottle aquarium making at the Green Live Center.
