Hiyodori Mountain Harvest Festival: A Unique Experience in Nature

On December 6th, Hachioji will host the much-anticipated Hiyodori Mountain Harvest Festival at the remarkable Hiyodori Mountain Farmers Club. This event invites participants to immerse themselves in a treasure hunt set against a backdrop of approximately 30 hectares of breathtaking farmland, a rare gem preserved in this vibrant urban area. This one-of-a-kind festival merges agriculture with art and community engagement, offering a chance for adults and children alike to enjoy a day filled with nature, art, and food.

The highlight of this treasure hunt is the works of an anonymous artist known as soil2, who draws inspiration from the rich landscapes, culture, and communities surrounding the area. Attendees can discover soil2’s artistic pieces scattered throughout the farm during their explorations. These installations encourage participants to reflect on the connection between nature and humanity while engaging with the ever-changing surroundings.
