Banshimoku Releases Second EP 'Nante HAPPY LUCKY' and Unveils Music Video for 'FREEMAN'

Banshimoku's New Release and Live Tour

Banshimoku, the two-piece rock sensation from Tokyo, has been making waves with their recent performances, including a notable appearance at the SXSW 2026 festival held in Austin, Texas this past March. As they continue to garner attention on the international stage, they are thrilled to announce the release of their second EP, titled 'Nante HAPPY LUCKY', scheduled for April 22.

EP Details

This eagerly anticipated EP showcases six tracks, blending the band's signature edgy rock sound with powerful vocals. Each song is sprinkled with Banshimoku's unique sense of humor and playful spirit. Adding to the excitement, the CD edition will include live audio from their self-produced event 'Iai', which took place on February 26. Upcoming Live Tour

Kicking off in May, Banshimoku will embark on their 'Nante HAPPY LUCKY Tour', which will span eight cities across Japan. The tour's grand finale is set for June 26 at Shibuya O-WEST, marking the largest capacity show in the band's history. Band Profile

Banshimoku is composed of vocalist/guitarist Chigashi On and drummer Iohara Yamato, who create a unique sound by fusing alternative rock sensibilities. Their lyrics blend themes of personal honesty and dreamy aspirations, which resonate deeply with listeners. Having played at prestigious domestic festivals and expanding their international presence, they released their debut EP 'Monku no Hitotsu mo Iitai!' in June 2025.
