The event, which took place from December 18 to 23, witnessed a remarkable turnout, with hundreds of thousands in attendance and millions watching from around the globe. The diversity among participants aged anywhere from 13 to 72 years highlighted the inclusive and intergenerational spirit that the Games aim to foster.
Pioneering activities included innovative competitions such as Drone Racing and various eSports tournaments, featuring globally renowned games like Dota 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Fortnite. The event successfully attracted a mix of traditional sports enthusiasts and new-age digital gaming fans, demonstrating the growing fascination with phygital interactions where physical and digital worlds meet.

Standout events included the Battle of Robots, which saw 2.48 tons of machinery transported to the UAE for competitive action. Furthermore, several phygital formats captivated audiences, such as Phygital Football and Phygital Basketball, which were powered by some of the region's foremost sponsors like ADNOC and M42.
The introduction of VR-Game.HADO Global Invitation marked a noteworthy first for the region as it showcased the viability of virtual reality in competitive settings. With immersive experiences crafted for fans both live at the venue and online, the Games have effectively set a standard for the integration of live sporting events and cutting-edge technology.

The massive reach of the Games was amplified by innovative broadcasting strategies, featuring a dedicated OTT platform and partnerships with 27 global broadcasting entities. Coverage was available in over 13 languages, thus ensuring an unprecedented level of global accessibility.
As the curtains fell on the Games of the Future Abu Dhabi 2025, excitement is already building for the upcoming Games of the Future 2026, which will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan. Before that event, Astana will host several Phygital Contenders tournaments, bringing together local and international competitors in a range of disciplines.
