US Exhibitors at CISCE 2025 Experience 15% Growth, Highlighting Supply Chain Collaboration

The China International Supply Chain Expo 2025: A Platform for Growth

The third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), held from July 16 to 20, 2025, in Beijing, served as an outstanding platform for global communication and collaboration within supply chain development. This year's expo marked a significant milestone, showcasing a 15% increase in the number of US exhibitors compared to the previous year, solidifying their position as the largest group of international participants.

Michael Hart, President of AmCham China, praised the CISCE for fostering collaboration and innovation across borders. He remarked, "The Supply Chain Expo has created a fantastic platform for communication and collaboration." Notably, around 60% of the US exhibitors this year were Fortune Global 500 companies, highlighting the increasing involvement of prestigious organizations. Additionally, NVIDIA, a leading American technology company, made its debut at the CISCE, further underscoring the expo's significance in the tech industry.

Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), emphasized the importance of the event in strengthening bilateral economic relations. According to him, "The foundation of US-China relations lies in interpersonal relationships." In this critical phase, companies from both nations are taking concrete steps to enhance cooperation in supply chains, ensuring stable and unobstructed global logistics.

This year, AmCham China participated with its own exhibition booth at the CISCE for the first time, collaborating with member companies to showcase innovative solutions and foster partnerships. Hart highlighted the 2025 Navigator Program of AmCham China, initiated during last year’s expo, which focuses on developing leadership within the supply chain and collaborating with Chinese centers.

Shandong's Role in Supply Chain Resilience

The province of Shandong was recognized as a crucial player for global supply chain resilience. Since the first US investment in Shandong in 1986, nearly 1,000 American companies have invested in the region, establishing it as a key partner in bilateral trade. Hart noted, "Shandong is one of the most dynamic provinces in China, excelling in manufacturing, agriculture, port logistics, and new energies." The province's robust industrial ecosystem, efficient infrastructure, and skilled workforce have encouraged many AmCham China member companies to establish production bases and regional centers.

As an ongoing important platform for global supply chain collaboration, the CISCE allows companies to explore new partnerships and promote economic growth. The expo featured groundbreaking innovations in supply chain management and aimed to strengthen cross-border collaborations further.
