True Fit Marketing Collaborates with PCN to Highlight Southwestern Pennsylvania's Rich Historical Legacy

Celebrating Southwestern Pennsylvania’s Historical Heritage

True Fit Marketing has embarked on a fascinating project in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) aimed at shining a light on the rich historical contributions of Southwestern Pennsylvania. As the nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, this series is an important reminder of the region's pivotal role in America's founding.

Bringing History to Life

Since February 2026, filming has been underway at various historical landmarks throughout the area, with the series starting to air in mid-August. The production explores achievements and events that have significantly shaped the cultural landscape of America, providing viewers with on-demand access through PCN Select. This collaboration is rooted in True Fit Marketing's deep understanding of the local culture and history, given its base in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.

Gina C. Lynn, an Account Event Manager at True Fit Marketing, expressed her enthusiasm: "The historical relevance of Southwestern Pennsylvania to America's history is truly remarkable. Driving through this region, one encounters numerous sites of historical significance, from The Whiskey Rebellion to Fort Ligonier and Hanna's Town. PCN’s original series will allow us to uncover and share the captivating stories that have shaped our communities and our nation."

The Importance of Community Involvement

The primary aim of this series is not only to commemorate America's 250th anniversary but also to bring communities together and recognize organizations dedicated to preserving the area's historical legacy. As Debra Kohr Sheppard, President and CEO of PCN emphasized, "Southwestern Pennsylvania has played a remarkable role in our nation's history. We're thrilled to partner with True Fit Marketing to share these vital stories with audiences across the Commonwealth."

True Fit Marketing highlights the significance of engaging with local community leaders, historical societies, Chambers of Commerce, and businesses to further spread awareness and appreciation for the region's history. Lynn stated, "We urge community leaders and organizations with a long-standing presence in these historical areas to join us in disseminating these stories. Our history is dynamic, and there is always something new to discover. We hope the younger generation in Southwestern Pennsylvania will connect with our past as they forge a path into the future."
