InfiMotion Technology Unveils Advanced E-Drive Solutions at CES 2026
InfiMotion Technology's E-Drive Innovations at CES 2026
InfiMotion Technology recently made waves at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in Las Vegas, one of the largest technology events globally. This year's event brought together thousands of technology companies from around the world, showcasing groundbreaking advancements in various fields. Among these highlights were InfiMotion's revolutionary Electric Drive Units (EDUs), marking a significant contribution to the evolution of electric mobility.
As a leading provider in the electrical drive systems sector based in China, InfiMotion presented three cutting-edge products designed to enhance the performance and efficiency of the next generation of electric vehicles. These solutions are a testament to the company's commitment to advancing intelligent manufacturing in China and strengthening the global supply chain for high-quality electric vehicles.
High-Performance Dual Motor System
The first product unveiled is a dual motor system featuring an innovative magnesium-aluminum alloy casing. This high-performance unit achieves a peak output of 340 kW while weighing only 109.5 kg, resulting in an impressive power density of 3.1 kW/kg. Currently in production, this system is featured in popular vehicle models such as the Galaxy M9 and Lynk & Co 900. A notable feature includes its torque-vectoring control system, enabling remarkable maneuverability akin to a 'waltz-like tank rotation'.
900V High-Performance Coaxial Double E-Drive
Next is the 900V high-performance coaxial double E-Drive, also encased in a magnesium alloy. Utilizing a coaxial planetary configuration, it boasts a remarkable CLTC efficiency of 92.4% at operating voltages above 750 V, with a record power density of 5.69 kW/kg. This unit's design reduces weight by 30% while incorporating InfiMotion's Deep-Oil-Cooling technology for the stator and rotor, which optimizes thermal performance and enables over 80 consecutive full-throttle accelerations without any loss in power.
Ultra-Integrated 12-in-1 Domain Control E-Drive
The final product, an ultra-integrated 12-in-1 domain control E-Drive, combines 12 core modules, including the motor, transmission, MCU, VCU, BMS, DC-DC converter, and more. This 400V IGBT-based EDU achieves a CLTC efficiency of 90% and weighs in at under 79.8 kg, making it a lightweight and efficient solution already deployed in the Geely Galaxy E5.
As a global technology partner with roots in China, InfiMotion Technology is dedicated to providing comprehensive end-to-end systems from research and development to serial production. This approach reflects their commitment to collaborating closely with leading mainstream and luxury auto brands worldwide in shaping the future of electromobility.
InfiMotion Technology continues to bolster its reputation as a full-stack provider of electric drive components and system solutions with robust research, development, and manufacturing capabilities, supported by its headquarters in Wuxi, China, five intelligent manufacturing facilities, and six global research and development centers.
The launch of these cutting-edge solutions not only underscores InfiMotion's innovation but also highlights its role in driving the electric vehicle industry forward, ultimately benefiting consumers worldwide who seek high-performance, efficient electric vehicles. With ongoing advancements and investments in technology, InfiMotion is poised to be a key player in the electrification of transportation, paving the way for a more sustainable future.
