Foxconn's Token Factory Ecosystem Unveiled at 2026 Tech Day
On October 30, 2026, the Hon Hai Technology Group, better known as Foxconn, confirmed its role as a leader in the AI server manufacturing landscape during the 7th annual Hon Hai Tech Day (HHTD26) held in Taipei. The event, which celebrates technology partnerships, highlighted 321 products, with a significant portion dedicated to the new Token Factory, a cutting-edge initiative aimed at AI integration.
The Token Factory and its Innovations
At HHTD26, Foxconn displayed its extensive capabilities in vertical integration and precision manufacturing that lie at the heart of its work on the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform. This involved showcasing the complete systems for AI supercomputing down to submicron component manufacturing. A standout innovation presented was the NVIDIA DSX POD, a reference design that allows partners to pre-integrate AI infrastructure while conducting critical validations before shipping. This setup dominated the exhibition area and served as a focal point for attendees.
The Token Factory featured a visually striking 20-meter-long wall demonstrating printed circuit boards populated with thousands of micro-precision components. Among the exhibited breakthroughs were a fanless, cable-free server design for AI that emerged from rapid development and the co-packaged optics (CPO) trend that enhances AI infrastructure efficiency. The exhibit also included reimagined high-speed data solutions for power and cooling systems that are essential for state-of-the-art AI architectures.
Collaborations and Future Directions
Foxconn is collaborating with industry giants such as NVIDIA, Google, and Schneider Electric to explore next-generation infrastructure solutions, including discussions on sustainable electric mobility with Honda and Mitsubishi Electric Mobility. Foxconn's president, Young Liu, emphasized the company's transformation into a tech platform service provider, reflecting on Foxconn's ability to make groundbreaking developments feasible.
