Tokyo Game Show 2025 Showcase

At Tokyo Game Show 2025, Mononoke no Kuni is being featured at three key locations:
  • - Happinet Main Booth: Hall 7 (07-N12)
  • - Indie Game Corner: Hall 11 (11-C-6)
  • - Sōfū Booth: part of a project led by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry supporting next-generation creators.

At TGS, the game offers two distinct demo experiences:
1. Battle Area: Participants can take on a boss battle against Shōtōn Dōji, employing strategies such as parrying all attacks and collaborating with Musashi in engaging action gameplay.
2. Village Area: This exploration segment allows players to interact with various yokai, such as Nekonata and Gamata, providing insights into the game’s rich narrative and vibrant world.

Despite it being a business day, Mononoke no Kuni attracted many industry professionals and media representatives, leading to substantial interest at the booth, especially for the playable demo.

Visitor Rewards at TGS

Attendees who participate in the demos at both Happinet and the Indie Booth will receive a special sticker featuring the game's main visual and illustrations as a limited-time gift. Additionally, there’s an interactive Mononoke no Kuni omikuji campaign, offering prizes based on the shrine fortune drawn, which participants can claim by registering on Steam or Discord, or by following on X.

Game Overview

Mononoke no Kuni is an action adventure game that beautifully depicts the bond between a boy and his Shiba Inu. As players engage in warm interactions within the village and participate in intense battles against powerful yokai, they will uncover hidden stories from the yokai themselves. The first playable experience at TGS2025 represents an exciting opportunity to immerse in the core themes of bonds and purification inherent in the game.
