Comfort Hotel Tokyo Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Implements Patrols to Enhance Community Safety
Enhancing Community Safety at Comfort Hotel Tokyo Kiyosumi-Shirakawa
Introduction
In an effort to foster a safer and more secure environment for the community, Comfort Hotel Tokyo Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, managed by Choice Hotels Japan, initiated a patrol program starting April 1, 2026. This initiative, aimed at enhancing safety and peace of mind in the Koto district, marks a significant step toward community engagement and proactive crime prevention.
The Patrol Initiative
Registered as a member of the Koto District Safety Patrol Group, the hotel staff will conduct monthly patrols in the vicinity, focusing particularly around Kiyosumi Garden. Each patrol will last between 30 minutes to an hour during evening hours, utilizing a rotating team of staff members who will wear reflective vests provided by the local government. This visibility aims to increase crime prevention awareness among the residents.
The primary goal of this initiative is for Comfort Hotel to evolve from being a mere accommodation provider to an integral player in maintaining community safety and security.
