About the Artist

DAICHI MIURA started his career as a fashion designer and has extensively worked on costumes for artists and actors. Over the years, his creative horizons have broadened to include directing for advertisements, designing residences, brand production, and illustration. His lifestyle, rooted in travel, has allowed him to confront various cultures and nature, inspiring him to engage actively in social causes like environmental issues and community revitalization.

In 2021, MIURA began delving into a different form of artistic expression, merging his fashion design concepts with crystals, leading to the creation of his iconic figure, 'Josie'. His 2022 solo exhibition 'MODERATION DAICHI MIURA ART EXHIBITION' garnered critical acclaim, showcasing over 100 pieces, including collaborative works with high-end jewelry house CHAUMET and Disney. Recently, in 2023, he expanded his presence internationally by participating in notable art fairs such as ART FAIR TOKYO 2023 and VOLTA BASEL 2023.
