From May 22 to 24, 2026, Kyoto will host one of Japan's largest indie gaming showcases, BitSummit PUNCH. Organized by Marvelous Inc., this event will feature an impressive array of indie games developed by the latest cohort of the iGi indie Game incubator. As a silver sponsor, Marvelous is set to have a collaborative booth alongside its group company XSEED Games.
The spotlight will shine on the current sixth cohort's display while celebrating the successes of the previous groups. Highlights from the fifth cohort include Labylab's whimsical title Dr. Mememe Want to Sleep and the award-winning Studio ZeF's innovative game No Door Can Not Be Opened with a Non-Black Key. Both titles have garnered attention in previous editions of BitSummit, solidifying their place in the burgeoning indie game landscape.

3. Menya Spice Tokyo Branch - The Nakano Laboratory
Embark on a mystery adventure aboard the ship Nakano Laboratory, where players take on the personas of dubious researchers to unveil the truth behind a series of disappearances, collecting evidence along the way.
4. Softoko - Voyage Router
As players traverse randomly generated terrains in this roguelike adventure, they must adapt their routes based on the ever-evolving landscape of space, unveiling multiple goals in each journey.
5. Project Cross the C - Cross the C
In this puzzle game, players find themselves awakening in an unfamiliar snowy environment, guided by a mysterious cat as they navigate through challenging puzzles involving movement mechanics.
