Québec Delegation to Paris: Connecting with French Talent and Opportunities

Québec's Encounter with French Talent

On November 13 and 14, a delegation from Québec comprised of about thirty employers and educational institutions will head to Paris, aiming to connect with candidates from France, the Schengen Area, and overseas regions wishing to work or study in Québec. This initiative will prominently feature over 150 job vacancies and nearly 50 educational programs available for interested individuals.

Educational Opportunities and Support

During the two-day event, candidates will have the chance to discover the wide array of educational offerings from Québec. They will meet representatives from various institutions and explore opportunities for professional, technical, and university studies across numerous fields. Notably, French students enjoy advantageous tuition fees at several Quebec institutions, immersing them in a French-speaking environment that supports academic and professional integration.

For instance, Mélanie, who participated in a recruitment initiative in France, decided to continue her studies at the Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus in Québec. She remarked, "Initially, I was unsure about selecting the right program and institution, as well as my ability to continue studies in an unfamiliar region. I wanted to ascertain whether my plans were feasible. Meeting with representatives and various professionals alleviated my concerns and reaffirmed my decision to study internationally."

Career Progression in a Stimulating Environment

Québec presents excellent opportunities for individuals to either launch or advance their careers within a stimulating environment known for its balance between work and personal life. The companies participating in the event will be conducting interviews with candidates whose profiles match their requirements, in hopes of filling over 150 positions across various sectors including maritime, manufacturing, construction, hospitality, and health care.

For those interested in applying, job seekers can find positions listed here and further details on the educational programs available here. The registration process is complimentary and must be completed by October 19, 2026. Selected candidates will receive an invitation for an interview in Paris that same November.

Collaborative Initiative

This initiative is the result of collaboration among three economic development agencies from Québec: Québec International, Drummond Économique, and Montréal International, which collectively aim to facilitate professional and academic connections between Québec and France.

By fostering these essential interactions, Québec not only aims to attract talent but also enriches its cultural and economic fabric through diversity and collaboration. As the date approaches, excitement builds around the potential matches between employers and candidates, signaling a promising future for both parties involved.
