HATTRICK and Kashiwa Reysol Unite for Sustainable Upcycling
Valueens Japan Co., Ltd. has announced a groundbreaking collaboration with Kashiwa Reysol for the "2026 Kashiwa Reysol SUSTAINABLE UPCYCLE AUCTION." This auction, which features eco-friendly products created from recycled sports items, highlights the commitment of both organizations to sustainability and community engagement.
The auction kicks off with two volumes, starting with Volume 1 on May 29, 2026, and Volume 2 on June 4, 2026. Participants can bid on unique items that have been reimagined as fashionable accessories, embodying the essence of the Kashiwa Reysol spirit.
Transforming Sports Gear into Everyday Usability
As part of its efforts, Kashiwa Reysol, a professional J1 League soccer club based in Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture, has taken significant steps in promoting sustainability through eco-conscious stadium operations and using recycled polyester uniforms. The club is dedicated to the SDGs' goal of responsible production and consumption, focusing on upcycling used items to create new products.
During the auction, fans will have the unique opportunity to acquire stylish tote bags made from visual banners displayed at the stadium and shoulder bags crafted from 2nd uniform shorts worn by players during the 2025 season. These items will find new life as they merge functionality with nostalgia, allowing fans to carry a piece of their team’s history in a sustainable way.
By adding value to these items that would otherwise be discarded at the season's end, the auction not only helps reduce waste but also connects fans’ memories and emotions to the future. This initiative is part of HATTRICK's broader vision to solve environmental issues and promote a circular economy within the community.
