Anniversary of the SJE and Revere Integration
SJE, Inc., a recognized leader in control solutions, is proudly observing the first anniversary of its successful acquisition of Revere Control Systems. This partnership, formed in September 2024, has enabled SJE to significantly amplify its presence and capabilities in geographic and sectoral markets, particularly within water, wastewater, and various industrial domains.
Founded in 1980 and based in Birmingham, Alabama, Revere has established itself as an authority in the realm of control system integration. The company is known for its expertise in the design, manufacturing, networking, and programming of industrial control systems. This high level of integration expertise aligns perfectly with SJE's extensive product offerings, facilitating expansion into innovative technologies and applications and meeting an increasing demand for advanced control systems.
Bjorn Haldorsen, CEO of SJE, reflected on the profound impact of this acquisition, saying, "The integration of Revere's capabilities over the past year has been beneficial for SJE and our other brands. Their team's expertise and commitment to quality engineering and production have strengthened our market position and broadened our ability to serve customers more comprehensively." This statement captures the essence of the fruitful outcomes from their alliance.
In conjunction with the acquisition, a significant leadership change was applied. Andy Wilson, who had previously held the title of President and CEO at Revere since 2022, stepped into his new role as President of SJE's Engineered Control Solutions (ECS) Division. This division now merges Revere's proficiency with SJE’s existing ECS brands, effectively consolidating efforts under a familiar leadership structure. Leading over 470 staff members across 11 sites in the country, Andy focuses on implementing growth strategies as well as improving operational efficiencies, ultimately aligning with SJE’s longer-term vision for success.
Haldorsen remarked on Wilson’s seamless transition and contribution, stating, "Andy has been a welcome addition to SJE's leadership team. His experience has been invaluable during this transition, and I am excited to see how he propels the ECS Division forward." Wilson himself echoed the sentiments regarding collaboration, emphasizing that the collective talents of the two teams have been pivotal in enhancing their market presence.
Reflecting on the past year, Wilson said, "Our first year as part of SJE has been extremely positive. The combined resources and expertise of our teams have extended our geographic reach and have already begun to deliver greater value for our customers. I am honored to lead the Engineered Control Solutions Division during this exciting time of growth and innovation, and I look forward to building on our strong foundation together."
The acquisition marked SJE's second significant investment in 2024, underlining its strategic commitment to growth and innovation within the control systems sector, particularly for water management and various industrial applications. Moving forward, SJE and Revere aim to continue progressing engineered control solutions that empower customer success and drive operational excellence in their respective markets.
