Arschool: Pioneering AI Education for the Next Generation
Arschool Inc., located in Meguro, Tokyo, is thrilled to announce the launch of its full-scale AI education programs designed specifically for children. Under the leadership of CEO Tomohiro Murano, Arschool is redefining how kids interact with and learn about artificial intelligence. The company integrates its proprietary learning system,
Arstudio, with a unique feature called
Arschool AI that allows children to safely interact with ChatGPT and other AI tools in a supportive environment.
Why AI Education is Crucial Now?
The rapid advancement of AI technologies is reshaping numerous sectors, altering work dynamics and societal structures in unprecedented ways. For today’s children, it’s not enough to use AI; they must learn to understand its mechanisms and harness it creatively. Moreover, education in AI literacy, which includes recognizing misinformation and understanding privacy risks, is essential for safe and effective use of these technologies. Arschool is committed to creating a learning environment where kids can explore AI confidently and innovatively.
Introduction of the AI Course
Starting June 2025, Arschool will offer a new
AI Course leveraging the capabilities of the
Arschool AI system. Through this course, children will systematically learn the fundamentals of AI, including how to design prompts for generating responses and appropriate ways to utilize AI generators like ChatGPT. Here’s a sneak peek into the curriculum:
1.
Understanding AI: Students will learn basic AI functionalities, understand potential risks, and develop a rapport with AI through dialogue experiences.
2.
Prompt Design: Basics of issuing effective prompts to gain optimal responses from AI will be covered.
3.
Collaborative Learning: Kids will learn to engage with AI as a partner, enhancing their knowledge through cooperative projects, such as creating a historical fiction narrative.
4.
App Creation and Video Generation: Children will have hands-on experiences creating simple applications and generating videos, igniting their ideas and broadening their creativity.
Additionally, Arschool is launching an
AI Creator Course which emphasizes using AI tools for video and image planning and editing. By allowing students to create projects guided by AI suggestions, they will cultivate their expressive, cognitive, and creative skills.
Enhancing Programming Courses with AI
In conjunction with the AI Course, existing programming classes will also incorporate
Arschool AI. Here, children will tackle tasks such as debugging Scratch programs and generating creative designs with AI assistance. This integration significantly expands their creative horizons, enabling them to generate backgrounds and character images for their games. Students are encouraged to brainstorm and develop ideas collaboratively with AI support.
Arschool’s advanced
Expert Course will introduce higher-level programming with the addition of an AI-assisted code editor. This feature allows students to ask AI questions and receive suggestions for improvement while developing applications and games with JavaScript and Unity. This hands-on approach fosters a “think while creating” learning model, making programming both efficient and enlightening.
