4. Media: Awards will be given to individuals or media outlets that effectively educate the public about the human-animal bond through engaging narratives or content.
5. Technology: This category celebrates innovations in technology that enhance connections between people and their pets, from digital apps to data-sharing solutions.
6. International: This award recognizes excellence in advancing the human-animal bond on a global scale, acknowledging efforts made beyond US borders.

Steven Feldman, President of HABRI, expressed the importance of these awards, stating that previous recipients have included hotels, insurance companies, and even filmmakers who have had a significant impact in honoring the human-animal bond.
