Exciting Free Update 3.0 Brings New Challenges to Two Point Museum!

Two Point Museum Update 3.0: A Must-Play for Enthusiasts

The world of Two Point Museum has expanded generously with the launch of the free Update 3.0, set to begin on June 11, 2025. Developed by Two Point Studios and published by Sega, this update introduces a thrilling new exhibit—the Memorial for the Missing. This initiative aims to honor staff who went missing during expeditions, transforming their stories into significant memorials within the game. Players can now include these monuments, detailing names, service periods, and locations of disappearances, in various ways throughout their unique museum setups. The ability for players to showcase their creativity while remembering the stories behind the heroes adds another layer of depth to the gaming experience.

What’s New in Update 3.0?

The centerpiece of this update, the Memorial for the Missing, serves as a heartfelt tribute to the absent staff members. These memorials can be elegantly placed in serene gardens or collectively displayed in quiet corners of the museum, allowing players to create a reflective space while they design their exhibit. The update promises a host of enhancements as well, such as ensuring that rare exhibit items become available after a certain number of attempts, boosting staff experience points, and showcasing footprints around interactive display areas, contributing to a more engaging environment for visitors.

Upcoming Summer Update

In addition to the Update 3.0, a limited-time Summer Update will also roll out in phases following the initial release. This update promises to introduce an expedition map known as 'Bone Belt' featuring time-limited research sites like 'Sunkiss River.' Gamers will have the chance to capture various marine creatures, including Ittikimasu, Amakutetsumadai, and Sunaimori. Additionally, a plethora of summer-themed decorations, information stands, wallpapers, flooring, staff costumes, and even ice cream stalls will be included to ensure both visitors and curators can enjoy the warm season in comfort and style.

By the end of June, one of the most anticipated chapters will be implemented—a frigid museum set in Tongari Mountain. This location serves as the game’s ultimate trial, putting players against challenges such as decreased visitor rates due to access difficulties. Collaborating with local Yetis, players will strive to establish the pinnacle of museums while unraveling the mysteries surrounding the long-missing previous curator.

Sales on Epic Games Store

Fans of Two Point Museum can rejoice as the digital edition will also launch on Epic Games Store starting June 27, 2025. Paid downloadable content is also on the horizon, promising even more exciting expansions in the future. Keep your anticipation high as we continue to share more information!
