JTOWER Reports Over 739 Indoor Infrastructure Projects by September 2025

JTOWER's Growth in Indoor Infrastructure Sharing Solutions

As of September 2025, JTOWER Inc., led by CEO Atsushi Tanaka, has successfully implemented its indoor infrastructure sharing solutions in a total of 739 locations across Japan. This achievement represents a significant growth of 123% compared to the same period last year, reflecting the increasing adoption of shared telecommunications infrastructure in various facilities including commercial complexes and office buildings.

From July to September 2025, projects were initiated not only in shopping malls and office towers but also in large venues such as arenas, capable of accommodating over 10,000 spectators. This expansion aligns with the upcoming launch of the new B.League Premier league in 2026, which emphasizes improved arena facilities as a key criterion for team entry. Consequently, there is a nationwide surge in arena construction, to which JTOWER is contributing by enhancing the signal environments at prominent locations like LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY in Funabashi City and GLION ARENA KOBE in Kobe City.

The rise of cashless payment systems and electronic tickets due to smartphones has increased the necessity for robust connectivity in places that host large crowds, like arenas and stadiums. As such, establishing effective communication environments is crucial for ensuring smooth transactions and entry processes during events.

Indoor Infrastructure Sharing Solutions

JTOWER first launched its commercial indoor infrastructure sharing services in 2014. Since then, the company has expanded its footprint across a diverse range of facilities, including hospitals and administrative buildings, as well as logistics centers and sports arenas. In 2020, JTOWER completed the development of shared equipment to support 5G, further enhancing its operational capacity in line with market demands.

The core concept of infrastructure sharing involves utilizing shared telecommunications equipment rather than having each mobile carrier independently develop their network infrastructure. This model reduces costs associated with equipment and their operation and maintenance while also minimizing environmental impacts due to lower energy consumption and reduced construction activity.

Benefits of Indoor Infrastructure Sharing

In large buildings exceeding 10,000 square meters, there is a significant need to improve indoor mobile signal quality. By applying infrastructure sharing, real estate developers can benefit from reduced space requirements and electricity costs, while mobile carriers can decrease their investment and operational expenses. Ultimately, this results in a better communication environment and increased satisfaction for mobile users.

Notable sites that have adopted JTOWER's solutions include:
  • - Office Buildings: Otemachi One, Shibuya Sakura Stage, Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower
