In a significant move to bolster its manufacturing capabilities, Firehawk Aerospace has announced the acquisition of a DCMA-rated integration facility in Crawford, Mississippi. This acquisition marks a pivotal step in the company's mission to enhance the production of end-to-end rocket systems in the United States.
A Strategic Expansion
The facility spans 636 acres and includes a 20-year lease agreement, enabling Firehawk to significantly increase its production rates. Will Edwards, the co-founder and CEO of Firehawk, emphasized that the acquisition addresses the urgent need to rebuild the nation's munition inventories. With existing capabilities geared towards producing thousands of rockets annually, the new site aims to elevate production throughput to thousands per month, a remarkable leap in manufacturing efficiency.
