From December 5 to 20, 2025, 3rdparty will showcase Kayo Kuwahara's latest artwork series, PHOTOSYNTHESIS. This collection represents an exquisite fusion of floral design and art, capturing the delicate beauty of plants and insects illuminated against a dark background. With a focus on symmetry, deconstruction, and reconstruction, Kayo Kuwahara invites us to appreciate nature's quiet yet relentless pursuit of life and survival within its niche.

The highlight of this exhibition is the debut of the PHOTOSYNTHESIS Playing Cards / NOIR BLOOM Deck. This unique deck comprises 54 cards that encapsulate the essence of the PHOTOSYNTHESIS universe, transforming each shuffle into a reconfiguration of the survival strategies of its depicted life forms. Priced at ¥7,480 (tax included), these cards not only function as a game but also serve as a fascinating artistic representation, merging the worlds of biology and art seamlessly.

The Unique Design of NOIR BLOOM Deck

In this remarkable deck, 13 distinct plant and insect species dissolve and compete for dominance within their ecological niches. The artwork includes an original joker featuring a mythical insect with mirror-like wings, exclusively designed for this collection. With a glass of rosé champagne in hand, the act of card playing transforms into an intimate art gallery experience, enriching gatherings with friends and family.
