GetBlock Welcomes Vasily Rudomanov as New CEO to Drive Innovation and Growth in Web3 Infrastructure

Vasily Rudomanov Joins GetBlock as CEO

In an exciting development for the blockchain infrastructure landscape, GetBlock has announced the appointment of Vasily Rudomanov as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective April 2025. GetBlock, recognized as a premier RPC node provider, is on the verge of a transformation under his leadership.

This transition comes after the tenure of Arseniy Voitenko, the founder and former CEO, who has played a pivotal role in shaping GetBlock since its inception in 2019. As Rudomanov steps into his new position, Voitenko will take on a different executive role within the company, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity of GetBlock's strategic vision.

Rudomanov, 42, brings an impressive 27 years of diverse experience in engineering and product management, particularly in cloud infrastructure and data services. He has a remarkable background, having held senior roles in several leading tech firms prior to joining GetBlock as Chief Product Officer in Q4 2024. His previous experiences include being the Chief Product Officer at Chainstack and Product Lead at MarsBase, alongside an impactful stint at Cambrian, a developer hub associated with Solana.

A remarkable innovator in the field, Rudomanov has a proven track record in hackathons, notably clinching victories with his Unstoppable RPC concept at both ETHGlobal and ETHBelgrade. His extensive history in the Web2 domain, where he significantly influenced product strategies at companies like Acronis, positions him uniquely to lead GetBlock into its next growth phase.

With dual degrees in Information Technology and an MBA, both earned summa cum laude, Rudomanov also engages as a mentor and educator. His lectures at the Schaffhausen Institute of Technology demonstrate his commitment to nurturing future talent in the tech industry.

Upon his appointment, Rudomanov expressed enthusiasm for his new role, stating, "It is a true privilege to assume the role of CEO at GetBlock. The company has been a pioneering force in the Web3 infrastructure space, and as we enter a new era of decentralized application adoption—driven by a new Internet architecture—I see tremendous opportunity to become the most trusted and developer-centric Web3 infrastructure provider."

In his strategy, Rudomanov plans to enhance GetBlock's Web3 data services, introduce innovative tools for developers, and fortify the core team. His vision aligns with the growing demand for robust blockchain solutions as the decentralized web continues to evolve.

Reflecting on the leadership change, Voitenko remarked on the significance of his time at GetBlock. "Building this company from the ground up has been the highlight of my career in Web3. I am confident in Vasily's abilities as he takes the reins, and I eagerly anticipate the innovative directions he will lead us toward."

Under Voitenko’s leadership, GetBlock experienced remarkable growth, evolving from a small startup into one of the world’s leading RPC node providers. The company has expanded its infrastructure from a handful of servers to multiple geo-distributed clusters across the EU, USA, and Asia, now serving over 1,000 commercial clients.

Founded in Q4 2019, GetBlock has positioned itself as a leader in the blockchain infrastructure space, offering API access to over 75 blockchains. This latest appointment marks a significant step in enhancing their service offerings and maintaining their competitive edge in the rapidly changing Web3 landscape.
