Upcoming Twilight Exhibition Details
The Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum, located in Marunouchi, Tokyo, is excited to announce the opening of "The Twilight Exhibition: From Kobayashi Kiyochika to Kawase Hasui," scheduled to run from
February 19 to May 24, 2026. To celebrate the commencement of this exhibition, original merchandise has been created, and a special collaboration is in place with Koganeyu, a local sento (public bathhouse) in Sumida, Tokyo.
Exciting Collaboration Products
Craft Beer by BATHE YOTSUME BREWERY
One of the highlights of the collaboration is the introduction of craft beer produced by Koganeyu under the name BATHE YOTSUME BREWERY. The brewery aims to create enjoyable beer for customers after their soaking experience. The label features works by Kobayashi Kiyochika, a prominent ukiyo-e artist from the same district, and includes two varieties of the beer:
Weizen and
Hazy IPA. Each bottle is priced at
980 yen (tax included) and can be purchased at Store 1894 in the museum and at Koganeyu.
TWILIGHT Glass
Additionally, visitors can buy a
TWILIGHT glass engraved with a logo inspired by twilight's slanted light, priced at
792 yen (tax included). Pouring beer into this glass reveals the TWILIGHT lettering blending with the golden liquid, enhancing your drinking experience.
Sauna Hat
A unique
sauna hat is also available for
3,000 yen (tax included). Perfect for protecting your scalp and hair from the heat, the hat is made from microfiber on the outside and cotton on the inside, ensuring comfort and style while embodying the essence of the exhibition.
T-Shirt
Another offering includes a T-shirt featuring Kobayashi Kiyochika's artwork, priced at

3,410 yen (tax included). This product incorporates the evening scene from the artwork to create an attractive and practical item.

To further engage attendees, a
talk event will be held at Koganeyu on
February 25, 2026. The event will feature discussions on the collaboration between artists involved in the creation of ukiyo-e, shedding light on the techniques and heritage of this art form, emphasizing its relevance in contemporary society.
Specialty Beer at Koganeyu
Koganeyu will also be offering a limited-time beer called
Twilight Beer, characterized by tropical aromas reminiscent of coconut and lime. The session IPA is priced at
750 yen (tax included) and will be available from February 19, 2026, until supplies run out.
Relaxing Experience Packages
For those wishing to combine their bathing experience with art appreciation, a special package offering entry to the exhibition along with bath and towel rental will be available for
2,800 yen (tax included). You will receive an original sticker and a relaxing hora in a sento while reflecting on the beautiful landscapes depicted in Kiyochika’s works.
Unique Gift for Visitors
Visitors can also receive a pop-up card with explanations of the artworks when presenting their exhibition ticket stubs at Koganeyu, allowing them to take home a unique souvenir.
