Blurred: Crossing Boundaries Exhibition at BONDED GALLERY
From September 11 to 28, 2025, the Terada Warehouse Company will unveil the highly anticipated exhibition titled "Blurred: Crossing Boundaries" at the BONDED GALLERY in Shinagawa, Tokyo. This exhibition is a significant part of the 'TENNOZ ART WEEK 2025' and aims to explore the unique blending of traditional Japanese techniques with contemporary artistry.
The exhibition will feature the works of three emerging artists: Yuuki Nara, Masayoshi Noujou, and Ayako Kuno. Each artist traverses various fields, such as architecture and ceramics, photographs and memories, as well as metals and urban environments. Their artworks challenge our unconscious perceptions of boundaries, introducing an element of fluidity in an era where everything seems quantifiable and distinctly defined. Through their unique expressions, these artists unveil the subtle beauty of ambiguity, or what they refer to as 'Blurred'. Inspired by traditional techniques like ceramics, leafing, and casting, their works encourage viewers to engage with the dynamic world that exists between clear boundaries.

Noujou explores the interplay of modern visual language with Japanese traditions through intricate techniques. His 'Mirage' series captures ephemeral landscapes inspired by natural phenomena, reconstructed using gold leaf, which creates a unique immersive experience that blurs the line between reality and perception. His notable exhibitions include 'Optical Scenery' at Eslite Gallery in Taipei and 'Stillness' at YUKIKO MIZUTANI in Tokyo.
