Thrilling Preview of Monster Jam at Northern Tool

The excitement is revving up as Northern Tool + Equipment prepares for a special event featuring renowned Monster Jam® drivers Armando Castro and Colt Stephens. On June 5, 2025, the Buda, Texas store will host an exclusive preview of its Tools for the Trades™ program with a unique twist – a miniature construction project inspired by the Monster Jam mini build!

Starting from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., fans can meet Armando Castro, the driver of the iconic El Toro Loco truck, who will be available for autographs and photos. Joining him will be Colt Stephens, the talented driver of ThunderROARus, who will also engage with fans and support the students involved in the mini build project.

The Monster Jam Mini Build

This fantastic undertaking involves the construction of a one-third scale model of a Monster Jam truck, crafted by students from Bryan High School's vocational education program. Attendees will have the chance to see this impressive creation up close before its official reveal on June 7 at the Moody Center in Austin, where it will be showcased during the Monster Jam event.

Colt Stephens expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event, recalling his own first experiences on the Monster Jam track. “It felt like stepping into a gladiator’s arena,” he reminisced. “I’m eager for the students who have poured their heart and soul into this project to have their own moment in the spotlight, receiving cheers from thousands.”

Tools for the Trades™ Program

The Tools for the Trades™ initiative by Northern Tool + Equipment aims to ignite interest in skilled trades among the younger generation. Through this program, the company donates tools, equipment, and experiences to inspire students to take on professional pathways in trade industries.
