Discover the Extraordinary at The Oddities and Curiosities Expo in Philadelphia

Unearth the Unexpected: Oddities and Curiosities Expo

Get ready for an event that promises to leave you spellbound! The Oddities and Curiosities Expo is making its thrilling return to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center on August 16-17, 2025. This peculiar gathering is a haven for those who revel in the weird and unusual, featuring hundreds of vendors and artists that celebrate the bizarre.

Held annually, the expo has earned a reputation for showcasing some of the most extraordinary collections across America. Attendees can expect to encounter an impressive range of unique items, from taxidermy and preserved animal specimens to dark artistry, Halloween-inspired artwork, antiques, metaphysical items, and even handcrafted oddities, such as skulls, bones, and other funeral collectibles.

This year's expo isn't just about shopping; it’s a multisensory immersive experience. You can engage in tarot readings, enjoy sideshow performances, and capture memorable moments with creative photo opportunities designed to thrill your imagination.

Founded in Oklahoma by Michelle and Tony Cozzaglio, the expo aims to provide a platform for unique artists and vendors who might otherwise go unnoticed. "We established this expo to create a thriving ecosystem for talented small businesses and artists," Michelle explains. "We want to cultivate a community where everyone feels free to express their eccentricities."

The event will travel through 40 cities across the United States and Canada in 2025, creating unique experiences tailored to each locale. The exponential growth of the expo can be attributed to its commitment to excellence and a strong passion for showcasing the weird and wonderful. "By collaborating with the finest exhibitors and curating a custom experience for our guests, we continue to push boundaries every year," adds Michelle.

One of the highlights of the expo is the full-day taxidermy class. Attendees can learn how to fashion their own taxidermy mount, as well as sessions focusing on insect pinning — all workshops use ethically sourced specimens that have died of natural causes. These classes provide the perfect opportunity to get hands-on experience with the strange and unusual, guided by Heather Clark of Sleeping Sirens Art & Oddities.
