Introducing Telecube Cool Pro: A Revolutionary Heatstroke Prevention Facility

Introduction

V-Cube, a notable company based in Minato, Tokyo, headed by CEO Jun Mizutani, has recently launched the Telecube Cool Pro, a mobile booth specifically designed for heatstroke prevention. This innovation comes in response to the increasing temperatures observed during summer and aims to enhance workplace safety and productivity for those working in extreme heat conditions.

Background of Development

With rising temperatures becoming the norm, the need for effective heatstroke prevention measures in workplaces has taken on new urgency. According to Japan's Labor Safety and Health Act, employers must ensure the safety of their workforce, particularly with an upcoming regulation change in June 2025 that mandates the establishment of reporting structures for high-risk work environments and measures to prevent heatstroke incidents. In a survey conducted by V-Cube among workers in steel mills and chemical plants, 82% identified heat and heatstroke measures as crucial issues. To address these challenges, V-Cube collaborated with NiFT, a company renowned for mobile booth solutions, to develop the Telecube Cool Pro, allowing easy installation of cooling relief spaces on work sites.

Features and Functions of Telecube Cool Pro

The Telecube Cool Pro is a distinctive mobile booth designed to function efficiently even in external temperatures exceeding 40°C. Featuring an innovative structure combining cooling and air circulation functionalities, the booth maintains internal temperatures at least 15°C cooler than the external environment, offering a temperature differential of over 25°C.

Key features include:
  • - Insulation: Thick walls made from non-fluorocarbon fireproof insulating materials effectively block external heat.
  • - Cooling: A unique integrated cooling system provides cold air at temperatures below 10°C, surpassing traditional air conditioning in efficiency.
  • - Air Circulation: A specialized air circulation design cools the head and upper body directly, enhancing cooling while stabilizing booth temperatures.
  • - Space for Multiple Users: Designed to accommodate up to five people, it ensures enough space for breaks and meetings while maintaining effective cooling.

Efficacy of Telcube Cool Pro

Tests conducted at the NiFT lab in collaboration with Shinshu University have shown remarkable results. Even at 40°C with 60% humidity, the booth manages to keep internal temperatures below 15°C. Additionally, the surface temperature of a person's head dropped from 38.7°C to 33.1°C within ten minutes of entering the booth.

Lineup and Showcase

The Telecube Cool series includes two models, the Telecube Cool Pro and the Telecube Cool Light, with the latter being a rebranded version of the all-weather mobile booth, Telecabin, which was launched in 2024. A prototype of the Telecube Cool Pro will be showcased at the Work Style Reform Expo scheduled for June 17–19, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight. Attendees are encouraged to experience the booth and register for early access.

Testimonials

Toray Industries' Chiba plant has already integrated the Telecube Cool in a trial capacity, receiving positive feedback from employees regarding workplace improvements aimed at enhancing safety in hot environments. The plant is considering full acquisition to further its commitment to a better working environment.

Future Plans

In celebrating the launch, V-Cube has begun a subscription service for the Telecube Cool Pro at a promotional rate of 100,000 yen per month (excluding tax), effective immediately.
