Exciting Street Performance Festival 'Daidogeihaku 2025' Returns to Tokyo This November
After a successful run in Nakano, Tokyo, in 2022, the much-anticipated street performance festival,
Daidogeihaku 2025, is making its way back to Tokyo from
November 7 to 9, 2025, at the
Nerima Castle Ruins Park. The festival promises to be a grand showcase of diverse street art and performance, featuring more than
80 skilled performers from Japan and around the globe.
The event, known for its free entry with some special paid performances, aims to reinvent how urban parks are experienced. It's designed to promote community engagement and attract audiences of all ages. This unique festival has gained a reputation for its innovative spirit, thanks in part to its executive producer,
Narihisa Ito, who has a track record of producing popular events like the
U-1 Grand Prix and the
NB-1 Grand Prix. Ito aims to inject new life into the local street performance scene and is looking to set the stage for an unforgettable experience.
Highlighting the festival's
special ambassadors this year is
Yosuke Ubukata, the champion of the Diabolo category at the World Juggling Championships. Joining him is
Kamimaro, a renowned street magician celebrated for his many victories in international competitions. The festival also features
Mr. YU, who has earned the title
