Organized by Gene Co., Ltd., this will be the company's inaugural appearance at the summit. The Super Tank Wars tournament is a thrilling competition where participants use Unity to create AI-controlled tanks that will engage in fierce artillery battles on stage. The tank that scores the highest points, based on factors including enemy destruction and survival rate, will emerge as the champion.

What is TIGS Programming Battle Super Tank Wars?

Enter a realm where your code breathes life into an inanimate metal structure. After a successful presentation at the SANUKI X GAME event in Takamatsu, Super Tank Wars is ready to take on Tokyo! The tournament will challenge contestants to leverage their programming skills and innovative thinking to design the ultimate battle tank.

Participants should have prior experience with coding, whether you're a seasoned pro or a newcomer eager to learn. No coding experience? Don't worry! The tournament includes an easy AI creation feature that allows users to jump straight into battle right after downloading.

Tournament Overview

Total Competitors: 64
Preliminary Rounds: Conducted three times during the application period; early applicants can potentially replicate their skills against others in the prelims.
Date of Finals/Event: March 20 and 21, 2026
Live Streaming: The battles will be livestreamed on YouTube in addition to being held at the venue, allowing fans to tune in from anywhere.
Awards: The top four victors will receive trophies and fantastic prizes!

Application Process

To join in on the fun, follow these steps:
1. Register on the connpass event page: Event Registration
2. Create your AI tank using the GitHub README guidance here: GitHub Instructions
3. Submit your program via Google Forms after zipping your files, completing your entry: Google Form Submission

Application Period: February 12, 2026, to March 10, 2026
Compete in up to three preliminary rounds by submitting your tank early.
You can revise and resubmit your tank to make it stronger before the finals.
