Honda and the Honda USA Foundation Kick Off Annual Funding Cycle
Honda, in partnership with the Honda USA Foundation, has launched its annual funding cycle aimed at empowering nonprofit organizations and schools. This initiative is designed to support programs that make a significant difference in local communities, particularly in alignment with Honda's commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Organizations wishing to apply have until
October 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time to submit their proposals, with results anticipated in the spring of 2026.
This year's funding focuses on three of the five pillars of Honda's CSR framework:
Education,
Environment, and
Mobility. Each category has been selected to inspire and facilitate effective change within the community, nurturing future leaders and ensuring their preparedness for a rapidly evolving workforce. Honda believes these areas are critical in addressing pressing challenges while creating a sustainable and equitable future for all.
Education Initiatives
Honda aims to cultivate a future-ready workforce by providing resources for hands-on programs in the manufacturing sector. Priority in funding will be given to projects that offer training related to manufacturing roles, foster technical skills in areas such as design and data analytics, and facilitate the introduction of automation and AI to current systems.
Environmentally Friendly Programs
The Honda USA Foundation is also tackling the urgent need for environmental sustainability. It seeks to fund educational initiatives and infrastructure enhancements that align with its goal of reducing environmental impacts. Programs that focus on decarbonization, clean energy adoption, and efficient resource usage are particularly encouraged for funding.
The Mobility Vision
Honda envisions a world in which mobility is accessible to everyone. To that end, the Foundation partners with organizations that strive to remove barriers to mobility for individuals with disabilities. The aim is to enhance access to essential solutions that empower every person to realize their unique potential.
Organizations eligible for this funding must serve communities located near Honda operations. Each application will be judged based on its merit—taking into account community needs and available financial resources. Detailed information regarding eligibility requirements, available funding, and application processes can be found on the Honda and Honda USA Foundation’s funding opportunities page.
