Thai Multi-artist NOTEP Unveils New Single 'Radio'

Thai-based multi-artist, musician, and environmental activist NOTEP, whose full name is Note Panayanggool, is set to release his new single "Radio" on April 22, 2026, coinciding with Earth Day. This track serves as a precursor to his upcoming six-track EP titled PAKARANG, which translates to 'coral' in Thai. The themes of the EP revolve around the serene connections among coral reefs, the ocean, and the human body. NOTEP’s music explores elements of ambient textures and ethereal pop, resonating with the rhythms of the natural world.

Insights Into 'Radio'

Regarding the inspiration for "Radio", NOTEP shared:
"This song is about finding the frequency that already exists within you. It’s not about discovering something new; it's about recalling what you already possess. The ocean and the body are composed of the same minerals and operate on the same logic."

In his unique approach to music, NOTEP employs his vocals as an instrument, blending electronic music, natural sounds, and traditional instruments. His A/V performances and hybrid DJ sets promise immersive sound experiences that evoke deeper emotional responses from the audience.

Captivating Music Video

The music video for "Radio" was shot in the open sea off the coast of Koh Tao, Thailand. In the video, NOTEP wears a culturally inspired dress made from recycled soda can pull-tabs and appears on a traditional long-tail boat. The video incorporates decorative elements crafted from ghost nets and buoys collected from the ocean, visually representing the EP's theme: "In nature, nothing is truly lost; it merely changes form and circulates."

SETSUZOKU is attracting attention as a new platform for interaction between artists and audiences, bridging the rapidly evolving club culture across Asia.
