Japan Benex Unveils Its Largest Solar Power Plant
Japan Benex, a notable player in the renewable energy sector, has officially launched its largest solar power facility to date. Located on the rooftop of the LF Sakai-Koga logistics facility in Sakai Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, this mega solar power station has an impressive capacity of approximately 4.3 megawatts (MW). Utilizing the Feed-in Premium (FIP) system, the Benex Sakai-Koga Solar Port is set to significantly contribute to the region's renewable energy generation.
The installation at the LF Sakai-Koga facility features a total of 6,994 solar panels provided by Trina Solar, making this power station a remarkable achievement for Japan Benex. With an expected annual power generation of around 4,275,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh), the facility is capable of supplying electricity to approximately 1,425 average households. This development not only represents a milestone for Japan Benex but also contributes to the growing push for renewable energy sources throughout Japan.
Facility Overview
The Benex Sakai-Koga Solar Port has been developed in collaboration with Cushman & Wakefield Group through its subsidiary, Cushman & Wakefield Asset Management. The facility is designed as a multi-tenant logistics hub, demonstrating Japan Benex's ability to integrate renewable energy solutions into existing infrastructure.
