Global Z Recording Project Unveils Two New Projects for 2025
In an exciting announcement, the Global Z Recording Project has revealed plans for two innovative initiatives slated for 2025, namely
Suitcase SoundTech and
Carroll Creek Unplugged. These projects aim to foster musical education and community engagement in Frederick, Maryland.
Suitcase SoundTech: Bridging the Gap in Music Education
Suitcase SoundTech is designed to introduce audio production concepts to students from diverse backgrounds, especially those from marginalized or at-risk communities. The program offers a two-day workshop that covers the fundamentals of sound engineering, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the world of audio production. Set to launch in late Summer 2025, this initiative highlights the Global Z Recording Project's commitment to making music education accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances.
Carroll Creek Unplugged: A Community Musical Experience
On May 25, 2025, the Global Z Recording Project will host
Carroll Creek Unplugged, a free community-building event taking place at the scenic Carroll Creek Amphitheater. This annual celebration invites vocalists and musicians of all ages and abilities to participate in a collective musical performance.
Led by the Milk Mountain Band, participants will come together to perform a repertoire of popular songs, promoting collaboration and the joy of music-making. The event not only serves as a performance platform but also as an educational experience where attendees can learn from one another, fostering a spirit of community and shared creativity.
Celebrating Music and Community
Carroll Creek Unplugged underscores the belief that the joy of music is not confined to skill levels—it's about connection and participation. The event aims to create a vibrant atmosphere where individuals can bond through their love of music, enhance their talents, and build lasting relationships in the community.
While admission to Carroll Creek Unplugged is free, registration is mandatory to ensure that all participants have a spot. Additionally, those interested in supporting the Global Z Recording Project's mission are encouraged to make donations, enhancing the program's ability to provide educational resources.
A special highlight of the evening includes a raffle for a
Jasmine S35 Acoustic Guitar, a prized item sure to draw excitement among the participants and attendees.
According to Dr. Bill Lord, Founder and Executive Director of the Global Z Recording Project, the power of music resides in its ability to transcend skill levels and create a sense of togetherness in the community.
"Our goal is to unite musicians while strengthening the Frederick County arts community through shared musical experiences," he stated.
