NG Energy International Corp. Reports Positive Results for Aruchara-6 Well and New Drilling at Sinú-9 Block

NG Energy International Corp. has recently shared an update on their operations, primarily focusing on the Aruchara-6 well located in the Maria Conchita Block in Colombia. This well has shown promising outcomes, having successfully drilled to a total depth of 9,352 feet. It reached the targeted H1 zone and also passed through several other productive zones (H2 to H6), all indicating positive gas results. The well has been completed and tied into the central processing facility (CPF) where it began production, demonstrating impressive flow rates during initial testing of up to 8.7 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) gross (6.96 MMcf/d net) at an average pressure of 780 psi.

With the addition of Aruchara-6, the total production capacity at Maria Conchita is projected to rise to approximately 23 MMcf/d gross (18.4 MMcf/d net). This increase in production is significant, enhancing the company’s overall net production across both the Maria Conchita and Sinú-9 Blocks to an estimated 29.1 MMcf/d. The company is witnessing favorable pricing in the Colombian market, with some gas volumes exceeding $20.00 per million cubic feet (Mcf), a reflection of the premium pricing for natural gas in the region.

To support this growth, NG Energy is also making strategic upgrades to the CPF infrastructure, including the installation of an additional compressor and enhancements to other processing facilities aimed at boosting reliability, especially as production approaches the facility’s capacity.

In parallel, NG Energy is advancing their operations at the Sinú-9 Block. The Encantado-1X well was spudded on October 6, 2026, marking another step in their drilling program. Initial insights suggest that this new well may play a crucial role in better defining the reservoir boundaries and potentially confirm higher pressure zones which could lead to improved production rates.

Additionally, the completion of a pipeline loop connecting to the Jobo point has now enhanced the Gross transportation capacity at Sinú-9 Block. This upgrade increases the transportation capability from 30.0 MMcf/d to 40.0 – 45.0 MMcf/d, significantly boosting the net entitlement to the company.

Jorge Fonseca, CEO of NG Energy, expressed optimism regarding these developments, highlighting that Aruchara-6's successful performance and the drilling progress at Sinú-9 are key components of their growth strategy. With the production capacity being effectively utilized, the upgrades being implemented are crucial for consistent and efficient operations moving forward.

NG Energy International Corp. aims not only to contribute to the Colombian energy market but also seeks to enhance its role in the broader natural gas sector by becoming a significant supplier of clean energy and continually adding value for its shareholders and stakeholders. With a robust background in expanding both production capabilities and operational infrastructure, the company is poised for sustained growth in the natural gas landscape of the Americas.
