Lectron Launches Innovative Smart Chargers

Lectron, a prominent name in electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, has officially revealed its new line of smart EV chargers designed for compatibility with both Tesla and J1772 standards. This new range, which includes six different charger models, integrates advanced WiFi capabilities and the Lectron App for enhanced user interaction and performance monitoring.

The new chargers include portable Level 1 and Level 2 models, in addition to the V-BOX Pro home charging station—all built with the quality and efficiency clients have come to expect from Lectron.

Charger Models Available

1. Portable Level 1 EV Charger (J1772 & Tesla NACS)

- Comes in two power variants: 15-amp and ultra-compact 12-amp models.
- Equipped with a NEMA 5-15 plug, these chargers are designed for standard 110V outlets.
- Capable of delivering up to 50 miles of range overnight for the 15A version or 40 miles for the 12A variant.

2. Portable Level 2 EV Charger (J1772 & Tesla NACS)

- Supports 40-amp charging via a NEMA 14-50 outlet.
- Offers a significant boost of up to 36 miles of range for each hour of charging.

3. V-BOX Pro Level 2 EV Charging Station (J1772 & Tesla NACS)

- Features adjustable amp settings that permit up to 46 miles of range per hour.
- Designed for residential use, it serves as a practical alternative to public charging stations.

Each of these models is available in J1772 and Tesla-compatible versions, with the Tesla models featuring a native NACS (J3400) connector, thus removing the necessity for an additional adapter.

Enhanced Features through the Lectron App

The incorporation of WiFi connectivity allows users to utilize a range of advanced features directly through the Lectron App. Among the app's functionalities are:

• - Performance Analysis: Keep track of charging efficiency and historic usage data.
• - Scheduled Charging: Users can optimize their energy expenses by charging during off-peak hours.
• - Power Settings: Ability to set kilowatt caps to control energy consumption effectively.
