Tokyo Station Hotel Launches Christmas Charity Ornament for Forest Conservation in 2025

Tokyo Station Hotel's Charity Christmas Ornament 2025

In 2025, the Tokyo Station Hotel, located at Marunouchi 1-9-1 in Chiyoda, Tokyo, proudly marks its 110th anniversary. As part of annual traditions, it's collaborating with the forest conservation organization more trees to produce a special Christmas charity ornament. All donations collected will directly support more trees' efforts in preserving forests.

This year's ornament showcases a design inspired by the clematis flower, closely associated with the hotel's heritage as it adorns the dome ceiling of Tokyo Station and its main lobby. The ornament features the number '110' cut out, symbolizing this significant milestone.

Since 2015, the charity ornament initiative has aimed to facilitate participation in social contribution activities, focusing on raising funds for forest maintenance and revitalization. Each sapling is estimated to cost approximately 1,400 yen. Inspired by the total length of the station structure—which measures 335 meters—the goal this year is to gather donations amounting to saplings totaling 335. Last year, thanks to generous support from the public, the campaign exceeded its target, raising an impressive 495,758 yen, which equates to 354 saplings. We express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in these efforts.

Every contribution is a crucial step toward protecting our planet's environment. By supporting more trees, donors play an integral role in preserving biodiversity and ensuring a rich natural environment for future generations. Donations can be made starting from 1,000 yen and can be adjusted according to personal discretion. We encourage everyone to participate as a sign of commitment to nature conservation.

As a token of appreciation, those who donate will receive the ornament, which can be used not only as a tree decoration but also as a luggage tag or a coaster. Each year's ornament has a unique design, attracting collectors and serving as a cherished memento for those visiting the Tokyo Station Hotel. This initiative combines the joy of giving during the festive period with the positive impact of charitable contributions to forest conservation.
