Exciting news for Rilakkuma fans! On June 1, 2026, Mahoroba Minds Miura, located in Miura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, will introduce a brand new Rilakkuma Afternoon Tea. This delightful event promises an enjoyable culinary experience, incorporating the cute and cozy aesthetic that Rilakkuma is known for. Alongside this, starting in July, the special accommodations for guests booking the Rilakkuma-themed rooms will also undergo a refreshing change.

A Unique Dining Experience

The Rilakkuma Afternoon Tea will be served on a unique stand shaped like Rilakkuma’s adorable face. The menu is designed to inject fun and whimsy into your dining experience, with every item showcasing beloved characters like Rilakkuma, Korilakkuma, and Kiiroitori. The emphasis on local ingredients, particularly fresh vegetables from the Miura Peninsula, ensures that you can enjoy exclusive flavors that cannot be found anywhere else.

Guests are encouraged to take a break from their busy lives, unwind, and immerse themselves in a delightful tea time with Rilakkuma and his friends. Additionally, guests who reserve a stay in the collaborative themed rooms will have priority booking access for this special afternoon tea.

Open from May 21 (Thu) 10:00 onwards, bookings will be accepted for up to 90 days in advance.

Changes to Collaborative Room Bonuses

Beginning July 2026, the exclusive bonuses for guests staying in the collaborative rooms will be refreshed.

Effective July 1, 2026

• - The plush toy set in the Kiiroitori Room will change from a combination of Kiiroitori & Chairoikoguma to Kiiroitori & Kiiroitori Carr.
• - Each specialized room will receive a newly designed “Mineral Water” service.
• - All rooms will see a transition from “Rilakkuma Welcome Donut” to a “Rilakkuma Cookie Tin” filled with icing cookies and treats.
• - The design and size of the “Rilakkuma Tote Bag” will be refreshed, with availability capped at one per room.

Discontinued From July 31, 2026

• - “Rilakkuma Face Towels” will no longer be included as bonuses for guests but will be available for sale at the first-floor shop.
